The inaugural Also Recognised Awards have just been launched by MyTheatreMates.com The awards cover ten categories, six of which were recently dropped by an established online awards body, three turn the spotlight on offstage design disciplines and one has been the subject of a highly persuasive lobbying campaign. The organisers believe all ten of these awards categories deserve to be recognised and celebrated.

The shortlists have been drawn up by My Theatre Mates co-founders Mark Shenton and Terri Paddock, with additional expert input. Voting continues until Friday 17 April 2015.
