23 – 25 June

Bristol Old Vic Theatre School presents their Summer Graduate Season showcasing the best of this year’s graduate talent

“Tis much when sceptres are in children’s hands; But more when envy breeds unkind division; There comes the rain, there begins confusion.”

by William Shakespeare
Directed by Gemma Fairlie
Designed by Robbie McDonnell

Henry VI was forced to take over the English Rose Corporation as a baby. As the son of England’s greatest leader, Henry V, he has been bred for this; but his heart just simply isn’t in it. A fact well known to the ambitious men and women who surround him.

Tensions in the company quickly descend into infighting, backstabbing and cold-blooded murder as this huge corporation descends into chaos and society quickly follows.

A bold new adaptation of Henry VI part 1,2 and 3 inspired by modern tragedies; Succession and House of Cards, and our current political landscape. This is a whirlwind thriller of greed, ego and big business presented by Bristol Old Vic Theatre School’s graduating MFA in Professional Acting students this summer.

Please note there will be a BSL signed performance of this production on Sat 25 June at 3pm.

Playing from Thurs 23 June to Sat 25 June in the Weston Studio. Tickets from £8.
