is currently appearing in his second straight play, WAITING FOR GODOT at the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham. In this interview with Michael Hasted he talks about his approach to straight acting and how it differs from the clowning he does in Giffords Circus and in the Everyman pantomimes.

is an affable chap and a man of many hats – actor, writer, director, Blue Peter presenter and former Chief Scout. This year, for the first time, he has written and is directing the pantomime at the Everyman in Cheltenham – ALADDIN.
