Bristol Bach Choir has just begun another season of singing. This highly respected choir is a mixed voice group of around 30 – 40 dedicated singers. Since its formation in 1967 it has gained a reputation for its dynamic, expressive singing and its vibrant performances.

The choir’s repertoire ranges from early Baroque music to compositions of the 21st century, and it performs larger choral works and also more intimate chamber choir repertoire with equal success.

The first concert this season is on Saturday, 5th November at All Saints Church, Clifton, Bristol. It will be conducted by the choir’s interim conductor, David Bednall, and will include a wide variety of works including pieces by J S Bach, Mendelssohn, Brahms, Vaughan-Williams, Holst, Monteverdi and Bednall.

The choir currently has vacancies for experienced singers in all parts. It rehearses every Thursday evening at Bristol Grammar School. Membership is by audition.
