THEATRES ALL OVER THE COUNTRY ARE  DARK but there is a tradition that not all the lights go out even when a theatre is closed and empty. A single bulb on a stand is left in the middle of the stage – it is known as a ghost light and ensures that anyone entering the building will always be able to find their way even though everything else is dark. Please give a thought to all people who work in the entertainment industry who have had their livelihoods snatched from them at a moment’s notice and have been left with no income and with nowhere to turn. And this is only the beginning; none of us know when or how it will end. We will try to keep up to date with any developments and let you know.
