This is the story of a girl called Laura, and a place called Lark Rise…

Surrounded by golden Cotswold cornfields, the lives of this characterful community are spun out.

Laura Timmins couldn’t be more rooted in her humble home, but the books she loves talk of far off places and opportunities beyond her wildest dreams.

Not to be confined by expectation, she prepares to take flight.

As the seasons move in a circle, Laura experiences the vibrancy of change and the moments of heartache in a life well lived.
