★★★★☆ This play is warm-hearted and excellently produced and acted – Katy Federman as Nigel’s mum, in particular, is wonderful. If you want a tale of the difficulties of growing up, tempered with a burst of nostalgia, I recommend Toast – just make sure you eat dinner beforehand, as all the food will make you hungry!

★★★★☆  This is a sunny, funny piece of musical theatre, which deals lightly and cleverly with difficult themes of death, suicide, and disappointment, all tempered with family love and support. I challenge you to see this and not find yourself smiling all the way through – see it and enjoy!
