I have been a fan of the Nederlands Dans Theater since I first saw them at Sadlers Wells many years ago, so it was a rare privilege and treat to be invited to the premiere of their main company’s (NDT1) new work, a triple-bill collectively called SAISONNIER, in The Hague at the end of September.

Pablo Picasso, arguably the greatest artist of the twentieth century, was a famous philanderer with a string of mistresses and muses right up until his death in 1973 at the age of ninety-two. In her one-woman show, MRS PICASSO, Carlijn van Ramshorst presented and revealed two of them.

On a recent visit to The National Theatre in The Hague we saw an excellent Shakespeare influenced one-man show by American actor Stephan Wolfert called CRY HAVOC! which was presented by STET, The English Theatre in that city.
